Have a Problem? Jesus is the Solution!

Great crowds came to him [Jesus], bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute & many others, & laid them at his feet; and he HEALED them… The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking & the blind seeing. And they PRAISED the God of Israel!

(Matthew 15:30, 31)

It is simply AMAZING to me, how one man (Jesus) could literally command thousands & thousands to flock to him from distant villages in the scorching heat of the desert day… just to hear his simple messages, or to touch the hem of his garment.

To some it just plain doesn’t make any sense — and might even seem a little bit insane…

But when you think about it in a logical way… it makes total sense! Anytime you have the miraculous happening… anytime you have signs & wonders coming in the form of healing… anytime you know that you can get TOTAL deliverance from the enemy (whether it is in the form of deadly cancers eating away at your body, porn addictions, anger, drug addictions)… it would literally take an army to stop you from getting to the solution.

You see — when Jesus walked this earth… He was a SOLUTION. People of yesterday, just as today, had problems & issues… and anytime a person has a problem, be well assured they are looking for a solution!

Jesus’ primary mission was to reconcile a sinful mankind back to his Father… so that we would be spared a burning hell as our rightful punishment. When we put our faith in the work of Jesus and accept him as our Lord… ALL of our sins & past mess are forgiven, and we have gained entrance into heaven.

Jesus used healing, signs, and wonders as EVIDENCE to prove he was, who he said he was.

Whether a person is an Athiest, a Hindu, a Buddhist, Agnostic, Mormon, Islamic, Wiccan, or whatever… whenever they see the POWER of God working through a brother or sister getting healed in their body of sickness, or receiving sight to blind eyes, or seeing the lame begin to walk… there is NO denial, that Jesus… is who he says he is.

The awesome thing about Jesus… is that he is still ALIVE today! There are some who say that healing and deliverance is for yesterday… but the Bible says that, “Jesus is the SAME, yesterday, today, and forever!” (Hebrews 13:8)

As Jesus healed 2,000 years ago… he still heals today… and these are the signs that will still bring people to Christ in multitudes, even in 2009.

Jesus said “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12)

Be blessed and walk in God’s favor for your life today!

Sometimes the BIGGEST Winners are the Best Losers

Sometimes the BIGGEST Winners in Life... have come from being the Biggest Losers at one point!

Sometimes the BIGGEST Winners in Life... have come from being the Biggest Losers at one point!

Did you know that some of history’s BIGGEST winners… were also some of the BIGGEST losers in history as well?

…and no, I am not talking about the reality show, the Biggest Losers… where the contestants try & lose as much weight as possible!

Really… some of the most successful people of ALL time, have had mile after mile of defeat and loss… and probably should have given up while they were ahead, but they refused to.

Colonel Harlan D. Sanders REFUSED to quit, when at the tender, young age of 65… he left his home in Kentucky with a recipe for some tasty, fried chicken… and was rejected by over 1,000 restaurants. He finally succeeded on his 1,009th sales visit.

Thomas A. Edison
REFUSED to quit… when he finally found the right filament to use in lighting up the light bulb… only after finding 10,000 filaments that DID NOT work in a light bulb.

Soichiro Honda of Japan REFUSED to quit… when he took his idea for a new piston ring to the executives of Toyota and they laughed him out of their offices.

He refused to quit after World War II devasted Japan… and forced the Japanese to have to depend on walking or bicycles… and Soichiro created the first motorbike, and then went on to create one of the most successful automobile brands in the whole world — Honda!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth REFUSED to quit when his closest friends abandoned Him, or when He was beat beyond recognition, stripped naked, and pinned to a cross between two thieves… and mocked! He refused to quit when He breathed his last breath… and spent 3 days in the bowels of hell.

…and in the end He rose up in power so that, “At the name of Jesus… EVERY knee will bow in heaven, earth, and under earth!” (Phillipians 2:8-10)

We will not always win in life… but if we accept our losses and defeats… and use the knowledge that we learn from those losses to help make us better… we can literally PROPEL ourselves into successful winners!

As long as you learn to do something better… become more efficient… become a better person… or become stronger from a defeat that you have endured, I believe you should celebrate that defeat, because it is bringing you one step closer to your victory!

Be blessed today… and walk in God’s abundance for your life today!

How to Invest in Your Self (Part 3 of 3)

Daniel Wiafe

Alright, so it’s Monday (definitely the best day of the week – LOL)… and for most of you across the world, you have gone back to work after hopefully a good weekend. My weekend is still going on… I’m writing this blog post from a LaQuinta in sunny and warm North Las Vegas, NV and will return back home late tomorrow evening to good, ole Oklahoma.

Anyways, for the past few days we have been looking at seven (7) things we can pursue… that will increase us spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

These things include:

1) Spend 15-30 minutes a day in Personal Development
2) Put God First, Family Second, Self Third, Others Fourth
3) Make Own Lifestyle Decisions
4) Whatever U Do for Money… Make Sure Your in Business for Yourself
5) Exercise
6) Make the Most of the Money You Bring in to Your Home
7) Map Out Your Own Financial Future

Last Thursday and Friday, we described in detail the first 4 items on the list above.

If you missed Part 1, you may click here to read it first.

If you missed Part 2, you may click here to read it second.

5) Exercise

Obviously exercise is needed for us to keep this marvelous body that God has blessed us with… in good shape. Would you let your car run for a year without changing the oil? Or would you let your child go a month without bathing him or her? Well the same is true with our bodies…. we must keep ourselves physically fit.

The biggest issue with exercise I feel, is that most people feel like they don’t have enough time to do it… but I would say to those people… you can’t afford NOT to exercise. People who live sedentary lives have shorter lives… have more health complications… and the lives that they live are not as exciting (for the most part) as those who are physically fit.

There are THREE (3) major things that we should do so that we can have a strong, healthy body for many years to come…

1. Aerobic or cardiovascular activities — Do this at least 3 times a week at minimum, for at least 30 minutes. Do FUN things that you like, such as playing basketball, tennis, rollerskating, jogging, flag football, bicycling, soccer, kayacking, rock climbing, walking, swimming… ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that is fun for you to do that gets your heart moving, is a good candidate.

Having a strong heart and strong lungs is a primary thing for all of us to do… and there are many fun things you can do to keep a healthy and strong heart.

2. Weight Training — Okay, so I know some of you (especially the ladies)… don’t want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger… but keeping your muscles strong is a MUST, especially if you want to live a strong and healthy life.

And don’t worry ladies… you won’t look like She-Hulk when you start lifting weights. Why? Because those woman who are super-buff and super-ripped take steroids. Testosterone is the chief catalyst that make muscles become HUGE and BULKY. That is the main reason why men in general… can develop more bulk than our female counterparts.

To check out a good workout program… check out Tim Ferris’ post on Weight Training by clicking here.

3. Stretching — You have to keep your muscles limber… to prevent you and your joints from getting hurt if you have slips and falls. Spend about 10 minutes a day stretching your hamstrings, calves, lower back, neck, quadriceps, shoulders, etc.

6) Make the Most of the Money You Bring in to Your Home
Some people make a LOT of money. Some people make decent money. Some people are so broke, they look for change in between the cushions to pay for gas!

Whichever category you may land in… you are the end decision-maker on where your money will go to. Obviously we all have bills to pay (mortgage/rent, utilities, food, etc.)… but all the rest of the income we have left over after paying the bills… can be spent on things that lift us up financially or take us out.

Do you spend your extra money on buying assets and other things which go up in value for the most part (ex. real estate, stocks, business ventures, etc.) or things which have HIGH value (ex. fitness, giving to your local church, feeding hungry children in Africa, education, etc.)…

…or do you spend the VAST majority of your discretionary income on things which go down (ex. expensive cars, clothes, eating out, movies, jewelry, etc.). Now I’m not saying to NOT buy things of this nature (that would truly suck & life would be boring!)… but what I am saying is don’t spend the VAST majority of your extra income on this stuff.

7) Map Out Your Own Financial Future
IMPORTANT: Do not allow others to map out your own financial future. You should take charge of your own future. Do not depend on your job, or your boss, or the government to take care of you… because in the end, they won’t.

You DO NOT want to be that type of person… who when they are in their 60’s complains that someone else didn’t take care of them. You are NOT a baby, you do not need anyone to take care of you… or to be dependent on anyone… but God.

I am not saying don’t get financial advice. Do get GOOD financial advice from people who actually know what they’re talking about… and follow their advice only when it makes sense in your situation.

God bless you all and if you have any comments… please leave them below. Until tomorrow, be blessed and walk in God’s abundance today!
