My nemesis is paper!! Years of filing everything (in case we need it) as in having our own business. Of course, when I go through them, I "think" we may still need the papers so I re-file them. Not that I know where to find them if I DID need them. It's "in case". You are so right about the papers "weighing me down", because they do.
So this column was very relevant. I know I need to clean up the paper clutter, wish it was as easy as cleaning out your garage. I FEEL like just chucking them all without looking at them, but responsibly, I feel I need to check WHAT I am getting rid of.

I can taste the joy and peace ahead when I clean up this clutter.

Thanks for bringing up "Cleaning out the Garage" - not only to papers but other aspects of my life, being revealed even as I write this. Bless you Daniel.

All the stuff that gets piled up every where is just hindering our ability to receive God's blessing for our lives. What if you knew God was going to give you a BRAND NEW car tomorrow then cleaning out the garage today would make sense. No matter what tomorrow holds we should be treating all of our life with the same amount of anticipation.

God desires to bless each of us if we will just clear out the clutter in our lives so that we are eager, willing and able to receive.
