I guess when you think about it... if we are 'hurting' our own selves by our decisions & actions (or non-actions), why does the enemy need to step in and do something? we're doing his job for him! That is especially true of the enemy - so if you are doing what you know to do then the enemy is going to do all that can be done to stop you.
