This is what I have been TRYING to do lately. I miss the odd day, but I find i NEED God's Word EVERY DAY and I NEED to PRAY !!! I am in such a tough place right now and this gives me LIFE. While having a bath the other night ( I find this my favourite place to pray ) I prayed in my spiritual language and sang spontaneous praise to God and prayed out loud with my voice ( which I find very powerful, to SPEAK the WORD out LOUD, especially if your body doesn't WANT to ) After I was done my bath, my husband let me know that he felt a peace resting on the house after I had prayed. Their IS power when we pray and sing to the Lord. PRAISE is SO incredibly important to push back darkness, though at those times it is the most difficult. I also had a time when I was struggling with a SPIRIT of fear in my home. I knew it was a spirit because it was so BIG and felt that it was in the home NOT in me. My sister and her husband came to my house and we anointed the house and prayed in our spiritual language for a period of time. I left the house and when I came back it was AMAZING! I actually felt like it was BRIGHTER and LIGHTER in the spirit! It was TANGIBLY different. I KNEW it was the Lord !! It TRULY does CHANGE things. but we MUST move PAST our flesh, the last thing the devil wants is for us to realize the power in prayer and worship. We as a body need to arise and change the atmosphere of our homes, churches and cities, by prayer and worship rising from each of our temples ( our bodies ) and change will take place.
